Bagghar is a fictional port city in French Colonial Morocco. It appears in The Crab with the Golden Claws and The Secret of the Unicorn. It was in this city that the Karaboudjan was dicovered to be under the guise of the Djebel Amilah. One of the city's notable residents is Omar Ben Salaad.The name Bagghar sounds like "bagarre," the French word for "fight."
