Charabang is a small fictional village in Tibet, located near the Horn of the Yak, which Tintin, Snowy and, eventually, Captain Haddock visit during their search for Tintin's lost Chinese friend Chang. Tintin had been given directions by the Grand Abbot to reach Charabang while resting at the Buddhist monastery of Khor-Biyong. Also, while there, the mountain that overlooks Charabang was described by the monk Blessed Lightning.
