Christopher Willoughby-Drupe (French: Jean-Loup de la Battellerie) is a reporter-journalist who usually works alongside his photographer colleague Marco Rizotto for the Paris-Flash news magazine.

History[]

He is first named in The Castafiore Emerald while interviewing Bianca Castafiore and Captain Haddock. He and Rizotto then publish a rumour article in the Paris-Flash which falsely claimed that Castafiore and Haddock were engaged.He is later seen in Tintin and the Picaros, interviewing Captain Haddock about his thoughts on and reaction to Castafiore's imprisonment in San Theodoros by order of General Tapioca. At the end of the redrawn colour version of The Black IslandWilloughby-Drupe is shown interviewing the MacGregor in the diner of Kiltoch amongst other reporters.
