Colonel Fuad is a Colonel in the Arabian army. He is a limb of the Kih-Oskh Brotherhood and features only in Cigars of the Pharaoh.

History

When Rastapopoulos ordered Faud to make sure that Tintin didn't make it back to Cairo, he had a gunman try to kill him in the desert. When this failed he had his officer draft Tintin into his unit when Tintin reached an oasis outside his town. It was under Fuad's service that Tintin found a box of hollow cigars and orders to send more cigars to India for the next opium harvest, thus revealing the Colonel to be a member of the drug trafficking ring. When he caught Tintin looking through the evidence, Fuad sentenced him to death under accusition practising espionage but really to silence him. Fortunately, he was freed from prison before this was carried out by a disguised Thompson and Thomson. Faud and his soldiers soon tried to recapture and kill Tintin again but he escaped in a plane.Days later Fuad attended a Kih-Oskh Brotherhood meeting in India and was knocked out by Tintin along with the rest of the members. He was presumably arrested afterwards.
