Destination Moon is a two-part episode of The Adventures of Tintin, produced by Ellipse-Nelvana, based on the book of the same name by Hergé.

Changes from the Book

The episode directly started with Tintin, Snowy and Haddock landing in Syldavia. Again, the cuts are made solely for time, such as Tintin's misadventure with a pack of bears, Haddock's tantrums over the space trip, and a few other incidents like a false fire alarm.

Production errors

  • In Part 1, as Tintin and Haddock get off the plane, Miller is also disembarking behind them. But in the next moment, Miller is ahead of them and watching them in the terminal with Baron.
  • At one point during the beginning of Part 1, Baron's coat colour changes from green to blue.
  • In a close-up of the Professor towards the end of Part 1, Wolff's jacket is grey instead of green.
  • In Part 2, when there is only one minute left til blast off, the Captain's overalls are green instead of blue.
