Doctor Martin worked at the hospital where Tintin was brought after a pilot shot Tintin and escaped with an unregistered plane. When a nurse asked about Tintin's situation, he said Tintin had some luck because the bullet only grazed a rib and Tintin would be up and about in a couple of days. He was rinsing or soaping his hands while talking with the nurse. His name was revealed in the Belvision animated series.
