Andrew Clement "Andy" Serkis (born 20 April 1964) is an English actor, best known for his motion-capture performances as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and its upcoming prequel, The Hobbit, and as King Kong in the 2005 remake.

Serkis voiced and portrayed the motion capture for Captain Haddock and Sir Francis Haddock in The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn and is expected to return for its sequel. He is a frequent collaborator of Peter Jackson - director of The Lord of the Rings, who produced The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn.
