Formula 14 are Pills to Sabotoge World Oil Supplies Speedol and Scoil that appear in The Land of Black Gold. They caused the petrolium to blow up, which destroyed the engines of cars which contained the sabatoged oil. Used, and maybe invented by Doctor Muller, they were planned for use in a possible war.
In the Land of Black Gold, Thomson and Thompson swallowed some, mistaking them for Asperines. This caused them to grow extraordinarily long lenghts of hair, which were brightly collored. The condition returned in Destination Moon, when Captain Haddock had to cut their hair continuously.
Professor Cuthbert Calculus created an antedote for formula 14, although in the process he almost blew up Marlinspike Hall.
