Fortress of Bakhine is the Bordurian military headquarters close to their border with Syldavia. It serves as both a military base and as the office of Colonel Sponsz, who is also the overseer of the fortress. Tintin and Captain Haddock visit Bakhine in disguise to ensure the release of Professor Calculus.
