Frank (French: Douglas) is a São Rican sailor and the first mate of the São Rican vessel the Peary who intended to shoot Tintin down to prevent him from landing and planting the Aurora Expedition's flag on the new island before the Peary's own crew. The Peary's captain prevented Frank from firing, calling him crazy for initiating the idea.
