Fred (French: Jules) is the security guard and janitor at the Museum of Ethnography in The Broken Ear.
History
It was he who first discovered that the Arumbayan fetish, the Idol of the Broken Ear, had been stolen. Fred was also the one who first discovered the false idol that was replaced. He is seen and heard whistling the tune to the song Toreador from the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet.
