Hector is a Rottweiler who chased Tintin in the 2011 movie, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, when Tintin and Snowy first arrived at Marlinspike Hall.The dog cornered the young journalist and was about to pounce when Snowy burst through the foliage and ultimately barked Hector into submission. After that, he and Snowy could be seen romping in the front yard while Tintin made his way into the estate. The Rottweiler was the property of Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, who owned Marlinspike Hall at the time. It is presumed that he is now owned by Haddock.
