Jacques Monastir was a well known French art expert who was killed by cult leader and art forger Endaddine Akass near coast of Ajaccio, Corsica.

History[]

Endaddine Akass, who is also a cult leader, uses Ramó Nash's “Alph-Art” as a front for large-scale art forgeries. Monastir and Henri Fourcart, who knew this fact (and in case of Fourcart, he tried to expose that to Tintin), were also assassinated on his orders.

Despite being a fairly skilled yachtman, it was reported that he had gone swimming near the boat and died due to a natural disaster.
