Jim is a criminal who works for Miller. He almost shot Tintin in the head. The Syldavian security spotted Jim and his accomplice, and were captured by the security.

In 'Destination Moon'

Jim is seen when Tintin finds Jim's accomplice at a vent near the Spordj Atomic Research Centre, as the unnamed character is held at gun-point by Tintin, Jim shot Tintin, grazing the skull, which rendered Tintin unconsious, however he his only mentioned in the book.
