Tintin Wiki

Labrador Road (French: Rue du Labrador) is a fictional street in Brussels. 26 Labrador Road is the apartment block that Tintin lives in until the end of Red Rackham's Treasure, when Captain Haddock invites Tintin to live at Marlinspike Hall with him permanently. In order to draw Tintin's home Hergé had been inspired by the flats in the Rue de Terre-Neuve.

His first apartment is quite impersonally furnished. However we find some souvenirs brought from China. It seems that Tintin moved floor between The Crab with the Golden Claws and The Shooting Star. He was first shown as living on the first floor and subsequently moves to the second without any changes set in the album. This may indicate the flat designs are all identical.
