Malik is a Turkish guide who appears in the film Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece.
He offered to take Tintin and Haddock on a tour of Istanbul, but when they arrived at their final destination, a tower with a view over Istanbul, he locked Tintin and Haddock inside, where three Karexport gunmen were lying in wait for them.
After Tintin and Haddock escaped the ambush, Malik confessed that he had been bribed to take them to the tower by one of Karabine's associates, but managed to escape.
