She is a Romani traveller who debuts in The Castafiore Emerald. After her daughter, Miarka, gets lost and hurt in the woods, Tintin and Captain Haddock reunite Miarka with her mother. At Haddock's insistence, Miarka's mother and the rest of their camp temporarily move into the gardens of Marlinspike Hall.
History[]
She is usually seen staying around the other travelers. At night, she is seen sitting by the campfire and listening to Mike's guitar music. She then leaves with the caravan, but the group is stopped by Thompson and Thomson due to the alleged theft of Irma's golden scissors and the Castafiore Emerald.
