Mr. Magistrate is a Swiss police commissioner who appears in The Calculus Affair in The Adventures of Tintin series. He is first seen when he gave the orders to a police officer, to send two men in for loitering the crime scene. They send in Thompson and Thomson, who were apparently accused of the charges. Then, as the case ruled them innocent and after they forgave each other, Thompson and Thomson asked Magistrate in what hospital Tintin and Captain Archibald Haddock were receiving treatment.
