Niko is a character in Tintin and the Lake of Sharks. He is the brother of Nushka and has a dog named Gustav. The three live in their native land of Syldavia. They rescue Tintin from the cliff and burning plane and explore the countryside with him. They are later kidnapped in a plot by Tintin's arch-nemesis Roberto Rastapopoulos, but manage to escape.
