The Order of the Golden Pelican is a special honour awarded in the Kingdom of Syldavia. At the end of "King Ottokar's Sceptre", the king, Muskar XII, gives this to Tintin when Tintin finds his sceptre. As the king said in the speech, it is an honour rarely bestowed upon foreigners.
