He was one of the many Egyptologists that were imprisoned in the lost tomb of the Pharaoh Kih-Oskh by the Kih-Oskh Brotherhood. When Tintin himself traveled through the tomb in search of Sophocles Sarcophagus, he passed by P. Schwarz wrapped up in a coffin along with many other Egyptologists like E.P. Jacobini, M. Trentin, Sandys, M. Dupont and Sauerkraut.

Appearance[]

P. Schwarz was a reasonably tall man with a white goatee. He also wore glasses, and a light brown hat. He is (presumably) bald.

Trivia[]

  • His name in the original French version I. E. Roghliff is a joke on Hergé's part. If you read the initials and then the name of this character phonetically, it forms french word for "hieroglyph".
