Prisoners of the Sun is a two-part episode of The Adventures of Tintin, produced by Ellipse-Nelvana, based on the book of the same name by Hergé.

Changes from the Book

The changes are made solely for time, such as Tintin and Haddock's execution being reduced to one day instead of eighteen, and some of the action in the jungle being reduced or toned down.

In addition, the flags outside the Hotel Cristobal Colon are coloured green, whereas in the book they are the official red and white tricoloured flag of Peru.
