He was a neighbor of Professor Calculus before moving to Marlinspike. He gets angry when Calculus's Shark-proof submarine malfunctions, spins out of control, crashes through the wall, and ends up in his living room. He is an entirely Belvision-original character and does not appear in the book series at all.
