Santa Clara is a fictional town in the Andes Mountains, Peru. The town is only featured in Prisoners of the Sun.
After Professor Calculus is dragged from the Pachacamac to the shore, his captors walk him to Santa Clara, where they take the train to Jauga. Tintin and Captain Haddock are soon following them, on the next train. However, on Huascar's orders, the coupling between the coaches is severed, and Tintin and the Captain are nearly killed. They are rescued and continue their journey to Jauga.
